Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

It is our intention you are happy with your artwork once you receive it and it is received in the condition in which it was despatched, sometimes unfortunately items do arrive in less favourable condition than originally intended. I have spent many hours devising what I beleive is a very good method of packaging, this sometimes comes at a cost but I can assure you these costs are not passed on and the cost of postage is in 90% of sales covered by myself anyway, so if you purchase a 75.00 piece of artwork, you get free postage which in real terms is around 25.00 GBP. if in the unlikely event your artwork arrives in poor condition please help us by taking photos of A.) the packaging and obvious signs of damage and B.) The contents before you unwrap it and after, in this event all return shipping costs will be refunded.

Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, you are kindly asked why you wish to return it, and agree your item will be in the exact same condition that you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging. There are however certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition,
  • is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If after your return has been received and a refund has been made (please allow up to 7 working days) you still believe it has not been credited to your payment method please, first check your bank account again, maybe call them if you haven’t access to online facilities. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted this is the receiving bank or credit card issuing company’s timeframe and not steampunkartistry’s system as all refunds are handled by our onboarded partners Stripe and Paypal, we have absolutely no access to your financial details at any point and we will have been notified by them that a credit refund has been issued. There is unfortunately no real certainty regarding time factors but there may be a longer processing time than you expect before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund then of course please contact us at returns@steampunkartistry.co.uk and I will do my utmost to deal with any problems that may have arisen.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for a similar item, send us an email at returns@steampunkartistry.co.uk

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns

To return your product, please download the RMA (return merchandise authorisation) posted on your account, or if you don’t have an account it will be emailed to the purchasers email address you the RMA will include everything you need to facilitate the return

Please email us regarding damaged items otherwise You will be responsible for your own shipping costs on returning your item. and if damaged when returned your Shipping costs may be non-refundable. This may result in the cost of return shipping being deducted from your refund.

If you are returning your artwork for any reason that may require your own service of choice I ask that you use a trackable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance, we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if you choose not to do so
